Hailing from Singapore, Alan is a professional photographer who has worked for The Straits Times as a photojournalist for over a decade. He left the journal as senior executive photographer in 2009 to become a freelance commercial photographer. As the founder of the School of Photography Singapore, Alan’s vision is to broaden the photography art culture through his experience and knowledge. His work has won him many awards, including the International Photographer of the Year and Nikon Photojournalism Awards.

Dave Stamboulis

Dave is an award-winning American travel photographer and writer who has lived in Bangkok since 2006. He specializes in landscapes, festivals and ethnic minorities, and his images and written contributions are found in publications such as Lonely Planet, National Geographic Traveller, Wanderlust, The BBC, Conde Nast, and Travel & Leisure, among others. His book, Odysseus’ Last Stand, received the Silver Medal for Travel Book of the Year from the Society of American Travel Writers.

Gavin Gough

Born in England, Gavin is a freelance, editorial photographer living in Bangkok. His work reflects the human condition, documenting the essentials of existence such as birth, growth, aspiration and mortality. He has worked for NGOs to document contemporary issues and his images have appeared in major international publications, including Vanity Fair, Conde Nast, Time, Geo, National Geographic, Guardian or New York Times. In 2008, Gavin co-founded the Bangkok Photo School where he teaches the “Street & Travel Photography” workshops since then.

José Jeuland

José is a French documentary photographer based in Singapore. He is also an Ambassador for Fujifilm specialising in documentaries, street photography and portraiture. His images have been featured in media titles as diverse as The New York Times Style Magazine Singapore, Spiegel, Asian Geographic and The Straits Times. A firm believer of hard work through dedication, José approaches his passion for photography with the same grit – capturing life’s fleeting moments and expressions through the lens of perseverance.
